It was just flat wrong to be driving down Sunset Boulevard this fast, way too fast for the conditions. We estimated the speed at about 110 mph, but we couldn't take our eyes off the road to look at the tach. It wasn't really even Sunset on which we drove but ratherare you ready for this?the sidewalk along Sunset.
Club-goers and innocent pedestrians were diving out of the way as we careened off buildings and crashed through light poles in our Saleen S7. An electronic warning indicated police were on their way so we floored it, crashing into an Escalade and a couple other cars before the S7 went head-on into a solid cement building and rolled over onto its roofdead.
The worst part of it all? We were howling with laughter ...
