THE BOTTOM LINE: EXCELLENT

Norton Administrator Suite, Premier Edition 3.0

Symantec has succeeded in delivering a technical tour de force. Norton Administrator Suite, Premier Edition, provides powerful and intuitive system management that will greatly benefit managers of large WANs (especially heterogeneous ones).

Pros: Capability to manage multiple sites from a single workstation; capability to manage multiple servers running disparate operating systems from a single platform; largely platform independent; great uninstall program.

Cons: Multisite installation needs refinement; monitors only network traffic.
