Hunt Valley-based PHH Corp. specializes in three diverse business operations: vehicle management, executive relocation and real estate, and mortgage banking. The company, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, rebounded during fiscal year 1996, which ended April 30, after a drop in revenue during 1995. Revenue grew 15 percent during the past year, from $2.1 billion in 1995 to $2.4 billion, after shrinking 3 percent from 1994 to 1995. Earnings increased 14 percent to $81.6 million, or $2.33 per share. For the last quarter of 1996, PHH posted earnings per share of 70 cents. In July, the company sold its PHH Fantus subsidiary.
