Oct. 9--The Daily Telegram, Superior, Wis., Obituaries Charlene Mathison, 76, of Savage, Minn., formerly of Superior, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at an assisted living facility in Burnsville, Minn.

She was born in Superior on June 1, 1932, to Vivian and Wallace Johnson. She graduated from Central High School in 1950. Charlene worked about 24 years at Superior Community Bank and Trust in Superior. On Aug. 13, 1950, she married Richard Mathison. She was a longtime member of Hope Congregational Church in Billings Park.
