The Virginia Port Authority has consolidated operations at its three terminals. The Newport News Marine terminal will be dedicated to breakbulk and project cargo, while all container services will be handled at the Norfolk and Portsmouth, Va., terminals.

The completion of a 200,000-square-foot warehouse at the Newport News terminal in late July facilitated the transfer. In early August, Turkon Line switched to the Portsmouth terminal.
