Julianne Moore stars as the doctor's wife in "Blindness," based on the Nobel Prize-winning novel. She spoke to Ramin Setoodeh.

Did you ever worry about going blind in real life?

Of course, you especially think that as a kid -- oddly, we take so much physicality for granted. The example I always use is, if we have a bunch of people in the room, no one is going to talk about how comfortable they feel. But if you [change] the temperature and make it really hot or really cold, in a minute, they're all going to be complaining.

Do you really read every script you get?

Pretty much.

Do you have time for anything else?
