Sony/ATV signs long-term production house deal.

Sony/ATV has entered into a long-term deal with UK- and Swedish-based songwriting and production house Phrased Differently, which has worked with artists such as Craig David, Lemar and Ben's Brother.

The administration deal will cover territories including the UK, US and Canada and will take in what amounts to nearly 1,000 copyrights during its first two years in existence.

Phrased Differently, which was set up by Hiten Bharadia and Akilan Kanagenthran, also counts among the acts it has worked Shayne Ward and US artist Donnie Klang whose Bad Boy-issued album Just A Rolling Stone recently debuted at 19 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Sony/ATV says the songwriting/production house also has upcoming cuts by Leona Lewis, Sarah Brightman, Ruden Studdard and Reba McEntire, while ...
