Tool vendors Jyacc Inc. and Neuron Data Inc. last week introduced versions of their products geared at easier World Wide Web development.

JAM/Web 2.0, the latest version of Jyacc's development tool for Web-based transactional database applications, lets users take information stored in their databases and post it on a Web server without needing to know HTML or any other coding or languages, company officials said.

The product automatically generates the code and forms, including HTML and JavaScript, based on what screens the user develops.
