Powersoft Corp. renewed its Internet push with the unveiling of NetImpact Studio, the first in a line of Web tools, at its user meeting last week.

The HTML and JavaScript tool, previously code-named Charlotte, will begin beta testing in the fourth quarter and will ship early next year. NetImpact Studio will run on Windows 95 and Windows NT and create applications that can run on a variety of OSes, officials said.

One user said the timing of NetImpact Studio's release -- seemingly behind the competition -- is not a major factor.
