Pacific Linen still scaling back; sees brighter in June.

Pacific Linen Inc. is liquidating $750,000 worth of bed and bath merchandise at its Bellingham store, one of four locations scheduled to close over the next two months, according to U.S. Bankruptcy Court documents.

The move marks the second wave of store closings since the Bothell-based retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April, and more shuttterings are expected.

When the company sought shelter from creditors, eight stores were scrapped, reducing its count to 24 outlets in the United States. The planned closures in Bellingham, Springfield, Ore., Las Vegas and Anchorage further whittle Pacific Linen's domestic operations to 20 stores, newly half …
