FutureTense Inc. this week will ship Texture, a Java-based Web publishing system that Informix Software Inc. has licensed for use with its DataBlade Web application development tools and Illustra servers.

The integration of Texture with Informix servers will create a front end for publishing information from database queries or linked from URLs and file systems to Web pages. When end-users visit a Texture page, information is dynamically updated from the links and fed into a preformatted text box.
