Don't look for big changes in the big trucks and sport-utilities in the Nissan showroom for 2009. The mighty Titan, the Armada and the Pathfinder are largely carryover for the coming year.
With full-size-pickup sales down 60 percent, Nissan instead is focusing efforts on its midsize models, a segment in which sales are off only 30 percent compared with last year.
"To call it a challenging market in this environment is quite an understatement, said Vinay Shahani, Nissan truck and SUV marketing director. "Nissan's philosophy is to not panic in a situation like this. We have great products, and we think these segments will bounce back.
