What's going on: Metal Locking Service specializes in repairs of castings and machine parts.

Breaks and cracks are "cold" repaired using metal inserts, rather than a heated fusion method of welding. The result is a zipper-look that locks and laces metal into place. The "scars" are hidden by a finish for an aesthetic look.
