How is a room full of motor-cycles like a box of chocolates? No, not because it's in Hershey, Pa. But Geoff Ringle, business development manager for the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (AMCA), describes his club's new exhibit as "a Whitman's sampler box, the perfect intro-duction to the world of antique motorcycles, illustrated with as many flavors as possible.
The collection, which opened in June at Hershey's Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum, features mostly factory-original or restored-to-stock bikes but also gathers in a few period-correct bobbers and choppersincluding the 1949 Harley-Davidson "Panhead commemorated on a 2006 postage stamp.
