Group quietly plans to build nationwide home services company

Three former executives of Browning-Ferris Industries Inc. have teamed up to buy Houston's Crown Services Inc. as the cornerstone of a national network of home service companies.

Clifford Wright, former division vice president at BFI, Howard Hoover, BFI's former general counsel, and Bill McCaughey, manager of financial analysis at BFI, formed Houston-based Enterprises Holding Co., which acquired Crown Services from its longtime owners about two months ago.
