My children frequently play a DOS-based PC game on their computer. When they quit the game, it reverts the Windows desktop (Windows XP) to a very Jaw resolution. The screen icons and menus look very big, and when I open the Display Properties dialog box to fix it (right-clicking on the desktop and selecting Properties), the sliding control that lets you change the screen size is off the screen. I cannot reach it with the mouse. The PC goes back to normal after a reboot. Can I fix the resolution without rebooting?
