Constant change often places pressure on systems analysts to perform in new and different environments. This article evaluates the broad skill categories of analytical communication, interpersonal, and technical skills to determine which skills are most important to insuring the success of today's systems analysts across a wide variety of systems development environments. This article may provide systems managers with current information to be used for recruiting, training, and evaluating systems analysis.
