Despite some mixed research results, overall findings associated with the use of electronic meeting systems (EMS) in organizations are positive. The expectation of meeting improvements has led a growing number of organizations to enthusiastically adopt EMS software. However, a large percentage of organizations have not eagerly embraced the concept. Electronic meeting system specifications are discussed and prospective and current EMS users are interviewed.
