IndyCar Series veteran and 2004 series champion Tony Kanaan signed a contract to remain with Andretti Green Racing for the next five years. The deal caps four months of negotiations, but a handshake in Milwaukee essentially sealed it, Kanaan said.

But that's only half the story.

Kanaan apparently was negotiating with Chip Ganassi to partner with Scott Dixon. Ganassi went so far as to say he thought he had a deal with Kanaan before the Brazilian re-signed with AGR.
