Scitex is restructuring its lines of Savanna, Catalogic and Whisper workstations, halting development and sales in certain world markets. The result is the end of the Savanna line as we know it, as Scitex seeks a third- party organization to take over support; the end of Catalogic sales in Europe, although the catalog system is being counted on heavily in the United States; and the end of sales of new Whisper systems in Europe, although Scitex is retaining a long-term commitment to support.

The following is an update on the status of all three systems.
