Albemarle lands catalysts deal with Neste Oil.(business & finance news)(Brief article)
Albemarle says it has been awarded a multi-year contract to exclusively supply catalysts to be used with Neste Oil's (Helsinki) new-generation NExBTL renewable diesel process. The deal includes scheduled deliveries of catalysts for 2008, 2009, and 2010. Financial details were not disclosed.
The order is "going to be quite material," says Albemarle president and CEO Mark Rohr. "It's a first step for us in alternative fuels; it could be a huge step, and I think there could be steps to follow," Rohr says.
