In keeping with its annual tradition, the Law & Justice Committee on December 12, honored members of the justice and public safety communities at a holiday breakfast in the Director's Suite of the Times Mirror Corporation. For both committee members and guests, the event provides an opportunity to renew acquaintanceships and to compare notes regarding current happenings in the field and prospects for the new year.
Committee member Phil Williams opened the proceedings with a general welcome on behalf of the host Times Mirror Corporation, and then tamed the meeting over to Committee Chair John Argue. The format included brief comments by each of the invited guests regarding status and outlook for their respective agencies for the coming year.
