Small business calls for flexible overtime law.

California small business owners overwhelmingly support revising California's overtime laws to provide employers and their employees with more flexibility in regard to overtime hours worked, according to the 1996 California State Ballot, an annual survey of the 43,000 members of the National Federation of Independent Business.

By a vote of more than 90 percent, respondents favor enactment of a flexible overtime law.
