SanDisk[R] pSSD(TM) (Parallel ATA solid state drive) eliminates need for HDD in Ultra Low-Cost PCs (ULCPCs), also referred to as netbooks, and can store both OS and application data. Available in 4, 8, and 16 GB capacities, these solid-state drives (SSDs) are built using Multi-Level Cell (MLC) and Single-Level Cell (SLC) flash memory and feature respective streaming read and write speeds of 39 and 17 MB/sec. OS support is provided for Linux and Windows[R] XP.
