Capital 95.8 was in third place among the London stations this quarter as far as its breakfast show was concerned. But it did manage to put right its embarrassing slip of last quarter, when its overall audience dipped below that of Bauer's dance station Kiss 100 for the first time.
GCap's flagship station recorded a 5.8% rise year-on-year and 2.8% over the quarter to claw back to 1.6m listeners - compared to the 1.4m posted by Kiss 100, which lost 10.7% of last quarter's audience.
