After going straight from fourth grade to college, Alia Sabur, now 19, recently became the youngest college professor ever. The Long Island, New York, native works at a university in Seoul, South Korea. Oh--she is also a musical prodigy and earned her black belt in tae kwon do when she was 9.

Q How did you make friends when you went to college?

A Well, I didn't try to make friends with college students. I just did stuff like art and music programs to be around kids my own age. Tae kwon do was a good thing when I was younger because it made me tougher. Beating people up once a week is sometimes ...
