6.30am Peer through fingers to discover what once-were-valuables Tinker and his partner-in-crime, Lovejoy, have happily destroyed overnight Need coffee, lots of it.

7.50am Drive to station, with coffee, and tune in to Chris Moyles to catch all the latest gossip.

8.16am Jump/bite/crowdsurf way on to train. Begin working.

8.50am Arrive at work. Consume more coffee. Everyone knows not to talk to me before I've had two.

9.30am Staff management meeting - imagine the cast of Fame mixed with that of Brainiac. Figure out first challenges of the day: how we're going to lay a 100-foot red carpet in LA and deal with a rather demanding Spanish hip hop artist.

10.30am Meeting with Haagen-Dazs. Heston Blumenthal enters room resulting in awestruck 60-second silence. Suggestion of special edition snail porridge ice-cream breaks the ice nicely.
