Airline allegedly defaulted on line of credit, stock deal

A Dallas man who helped Dallas Express Airlines restart its operations more than a year ago has filed a suit claiming that the airline hasn't made good on its debts to him.

The suit comes at a time when Dallas Express, a commuter airline based at Love Field, has halted flight operations while it waits for government approval to fly beyond Texas borders.

Jerry Ware, an attorney who supplied a $50,000 revolving credit line for the company, is representing himself in the suit. Ware alleges that Dallas Express defaulted on the loan payments and reneged on a stock option deal.
