Adobe Illustrator, Version 6.0 for Macintosh
Adobe Illustrator has the lead in market share and won't relinquish it with Version 6.0. Its main enhancements will appeal most to shops using both Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, as well as Adobe products such as PageMaker and Premiere.
Pros: Industry-standard illustration tools; interoperability with Photoshop; improved user interface; on-line help; new tools; open Adobe-wide API for plug-ins.
Cons: Command structure is still comparatively menu heavy and somewhat obscure.
