Could Ireland kill the new, improved Europe? It's the only nation voting on the Treaty of Lisbon, which would boost Europe's central decision-making powers. The Irish go to polls this week with 30 percent undecided, and suspense is killing the continentals. "For many in the EU, a 'no' vote is almost too painful to contemplate--but it's a real possibility," says Hugo Brady of the Centre for European Reform.
