Dear Democratic Party Committed Delegate:

Hard to believe it's been sixteen years since I took the stage at our historic convention and accepted our party's nomination for the presidency!

But this letter isn't about me. It's about my wife, Senator Hillary Clinton.

Yes, sixteen years ago I promised the American people a new beginning--an end to the failed economic policies of the past, and a partnership to the 21st century. Together, I told the crowd, we will build a great new future for America.

But enough about me. This isn't about me.

I went on to preside over eight years of economic growth and prosperity unmatched in our nation's history. Crime rates plummeted. The deficit disappeared. Unemployment dropped to its lowest point ever, and the economy grew faster than ever.

But that's the past. That's me. And we're not here to talk about me.
