FARID GHADRY and the Reform Party of Syria have a dream: a dream of a free, democratic Syria. That dream may seem terribly far-fetched. But stranger things have happened, or at least equally strange things have: Think of the breakup of the Soviet Empire. And Ghadry and his party think that Syria has a right to freedom. They also think that Arab democrats have a right to the support of fellow democrats, wherever they may live.
