55% of our respondents admit they hate it when you wear so much makeup that they don't know what's underneath. "Being all done up can mask natural indicators of good health that turn guys on," says Helen Fisher, PhD, anthropologist at Rutgers University. That doesn't mean go barefaced--the trick is to create a look that seems au naturel to men. Try sheer foundation and a dab of rosy blush and nude lip gloss to accentuate your skin tone, says NYC makeup artist Christian McCulloch.
