Getting a nose job was never a matter of "if" for me but "when." My nose was a clone of my dad's and grandfather's noses. I hated how it didn't fit with my other features, which are small. Though I never heard people tease me about it, I assumed that the first firing they thought when they saw me was how huge it was. As a teenager, my nose made me self-conscious, especially when it came to dating. It held me back from feeling attractive. I'd try to minimize its size by shading it with makeup, but 'all I'd see was a pretty girl with a big nose.
