One of the nation's top commercial real estate firms may hang its signs in the Western New York market.

"It's fair to say that Buffalo is a city we're looking at," said Mark Donahue, senior executive vice president of CB Commercial Real Estate Group Inc. in Washington, D.C.

But Buffalo is on a lengthy list with numerous other cities and regions, Donahue said.

Sources said CB Commercial is looking at several options ranging from opening its own office, acquiring an existing agency or doing a joint venture with a local firm.
