One company to issue book-based audios; the other to exploit nonbook properties

TIME WARNER AudioBooks recently underwent a major reorganization. Formerly a joint venture between Time Warner Trade Publishing and Warner Bros. Records, the company has split into two separate entities. Time Warner Audiobooks (TWAB) will focus on producing audio versions of books published by Warner Books and Little, Brown & Co. and will belong solely to Warner Trade Publishing. Warner Audio Video Entertainment (WAVE) will focus on non-book-based product, such as licensed audiobooks of titles from DC Comics and Lucasfilms, and will belong solely to Warner Bros. Records.
