Sluggish container traffic in the Pacific Northwest continued in April, with volumes through the Port of Seattle declining while the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority saw gains in British Columbia. In Seattle, April container traffic fell 5.7 percent on-year to 150,210 TEUs, with declines in both full inbound and outbound boxes. Import containers declined 10.1 percent and export boxes were off by 1.6 percent.
