Optronics has developed the fastest model yet of its Aurora platesetter line, the Aurora Lightning. In addition, the company has introduced a set of workflow tools to help ensure that steps upstream from platesetting do not become bottlenecks. Although these tools address all prepress processes, special emphasis is placed on the speedy rasterization of PostScript files. Both new products were demonstrated at Graph Expo in October.
