Convenience store chain unveils new high-tech prototype

MONACA - Stop-n-Go is revamping its concept of convenience stores and Todd Taylor, president of the chain, has put on the extra pounds to prove it.

Stop-n-Go, beginning with a prototype store in Beaver County, has introduced a menu of made-to-order sandwiches and pizzas, including fresh-baked rolls and pizza dough, plus grilled steak and chicken salads.

The food is part of the Cranberry-based chain's new Downtown Grill and Pizza Co. concept that will eventually be featured in all of its 25 stores. While the grill food is for takeout orders, Stop-n-Go also delivers it - and other typical convenience …
