Andy Lear and Tom Ewart complete Publicis' management line-up as Shop prepares to close its doors.
Tom Ewart and Andy Lear, who left Shop as the agency announced its closure earlier this week, have joined Publicis as its joint executive creative director and head of planning.
Ewart will share responsibility for the agency's creative department with Adam Kean, who has now been promoted from creative director to take the same role.
The pair complete Publicis' senior management line-up. Ewart replaces Nik Studzinski, who quit in February to join Mother, while Lear takes over from Kim Douglas, who left Publicis in November last year without a job to go to.
Neil Simpson, the Publicis chief executive, said: 'I'm trying to build a new communications agency and want a senior management team with the experience, but also the hunger, to roll their sleeves up and build something new.'
