The U.S. aerospace industry is on the verge of ending its protracted downward slide, in part, due to growing commercial space opportunities fueled by rising demand for satellite communications and the likely stabilization of U.S. government defense spending, said Don Fuqua, president of the Aerospace Industries Association.
