It is with pleasure that we present this issue of JPBI. The issue contains an excellent mix of discussion and experimental articles, including topics related to assessment, intervention, and values. We also included two Forum articles in this issue, as they tied together very nicely on the nationally timely topic of schoolwide positive behavioral support.
We lead off with an interesting article by Carlson, Luiselli, Slyman, and Markowski on the important motivation variable of choice making. The authors add to this rapidly growing volume of research and extend it to the interesting area of disruptive behavior involving public disrobing. The authors show that choice making can have a major impact on disruptive behavior, adding to the increasingly large applications of this variable.
The next article, by Riley-Tillman, Chafouleas, Sassu, Chanese, and Glazer, is on the topic of measurement and adds to our knowledge in the important area of observer agreement. The results show that teacher ratings can be a valuable and ...
