Excerpts from:

The Collected Sermons of Jeremiah Wrighte, Parson of the Angry Lord Church of Somerstowne, Massachusetts 1775-1798, Informal Spiritual Adviser to Presidents and Governors.

January 22, 1775:

God bleff America? More like, God Damme America, if thou asksest me.

Friends, we gather this Sabbath Day to worship the Lorde our Godde and condemn the Eville of the Kynge!

Right now, as we sit like Lambs, our Eville Kynge plots against us. Some of you, I cannot help but notice, have the Sniffles and the Gryppe--you cough and cough and cannot be Stille. Is this Poxe supposed to be a coincidence? Are we to believe that with all of our Knowledge and Progreff, we still cannot fight off a deadly Scourge?

I'm not saying that the Kynge is responsible for introducing this Playgue upon us--well, acktually, I am saying that--but it seems mighty Fyshy, does it not, that just as we in the Commonweal are enjoying the beginnings of Progreff and Succeff, then bang, we all come down with the Gryppe?
