SEBRING, TURN ONE
Mention the 12 Hours of Sebring, and veteran race-goers will picture cars bombing down an expanse of concrete, heading into turn one. The fast left-hander is a reliable indicator of a car's speed around the former airfield: If it looks quick through the corner, it will be quick on the stopwatch, too.
HOUSTON, TURN FIVE
Houston's Reliant Park street circuit might not be a classic track, but the buckaroo ride the GT-class drivers take through turn five is a sight to behold. Prototype drivers go flat-out easily through the long right-hander, but GT hot shoes have to be perfect over the bumps to avoid lifting off the throttle. Take a seat in one of the grandstands on the inside of the track, and see who gets it right-and who gets it wrong.
