Digital Art Exchange, in conjunction with AT&T, has developed a new service for graphic arts companies that need to move data files electronically from one site to another. Called DAX and packaged as a turnkey service, it is an end-to-end, ISDN-based data transmission service providing digital communications over AT&T's public telephone network. Also part of the DAX turnkey package are Mac or DOS hardware and software installed on the premises; the bundle includes network connection, configuration, on-site installation and seven-day, 24-hour support.

DAX is being comarketed by Digital Art Exchange and AT&T.
