Monsanto has raised its full-year 2008 earnings forecast from $2.50-$2.60/share, to $2.70-$2.80/share, excluding one-time charges. The increase reflects the company's increased confidence in its seeds and traits business and continuing strong performance of its Roundup and other glyphosate-based herbicides businesses.
