A group of imaginative Dutch designers are developing a range of everyday objects that move beyond the austere lines of modernism and incorporate a baroque and witty flair. Frozen Fountain (frozenfountain.nl) and Droog (droogdesign.nl), two of the most forward-thinking Amsterdam design galleries, exhibit a range of contemporary home furnishings including lighting fixtures and furniture.
