CIGNA unveils new health plan options. (CIGNA HealthCare of Arizona Inc.)

In response to a trend of providing more health-care choices to employees, two new network options are being offered to businesses by CIGNA HealthCare of Arizona.

CIGNA recently began offering CareNet, an option that allows members to choose their primary-care physician from a network of more than 340 private-practice doctors, or select one of CIGNA's 18 health-care centers in Maricopa County.

Members who choose a private-practice physician through the expanded PPO plan pay the same rates as those members who choose CIGNA's staff-model plan, according to Steve Burdick, CIGNA HealthCare sales director.
