KEEBLER: I prefer this '08 coupe to our long-term '07 sedan, even with its smaller, less powerful four-cylinder (as opposed to the sedan's rather awesome V6). The power feels like plenty to me for this lighter vehicle. Maybe because it's newer, I also find it rides more smoothly, with none of the harshness I noted in the '07. I also like the CVT (wish our long-termer had it). The coupe costs less (even all loaded up) and gets better fuel mileage. I usually prefer coupes' looks to those of their sedan brethren, but in the Altima's case, I find both equally attractive.
WONG: I've got a slight case of sticker shock here. It has every option but the kitchen sink, and that is reflected in its price. All these doodads are nice, but it's even better that there's a solid car beneath it all.
The base engine provides good power and is smooth when packaged with the CVT-much better than the Sentra I was in last week. ...
