STEPHEN GRAHAM has been named publisher of the independent literary trade publisher Ecco Press.

Graham founded the not-for-profit New York Theater Workshop and has been active in the New York theater for the past 15 years, producing plays by Sam Shepard, Athol Fugard and others. He is the son of Katharine Graham, owner of the Washington Post.

Daniel Halpern, president and editor-in-chief of The Ecco Press, said that Graham will be involved in strategic planning as well as the acquisition of new titles. Graham said, …
